The Park Ave Summer Art Fest will need a new producer.
Jeff Springut, whose company Rochester Events has produced it for the last 22 years says he's ready to move on to other projects. He says his company already has enough to do with events like the Lilac Festival, Party in the Park and Midtown Eats.
Springut says he’s pleased with how the Park Ave Fest has developed.
“We think taken the Park Ave fest about as far as we can personally take it; we’ve accomplished a lot over the years, and are pleased with that progress and the relationship with the neighbors and the merchants and of course the artists and vendors who are our customers, and time to pass the torch," Springut said.
Springut says officials with the committee that is behind the Park Ave Fest are talking with potential producers who are interested in taking over the event.
