A longtime area broadcaster has died. His obituary says that Ben Herrera died unexpectedly last Thursday at the age of 75.
Herrera was producer and host of Que Pasa, on WXXI-TV starting in 1973. It aired late Friday afternoons.
R News (now Time Warner Cable News), began airing the 30-minute interview segment in Spanish in the mid-1990's.
