What do our media consuming habits say about us? The pejorative term is “binge watching,” and it refers to watching an entire season of a show in one setting. Or it could refer to watching the entire Star Wars series in a weekend, or reading the entire Harry Potter series in a short burst.
Nazareth College professor Lisa Perks has studied this phenomenon and she has just published a book about it, called "Media Marathoning: Immersions in Morality". She believes there are positive aspects to it. But is it good for our health? How is media changing? Is appointment viewing dead?
