Rochester rec centers to close through Labor Day for staff training

The city of Rochester announced Friday that all recreation centers will be closed starting Saturday through Labor Day for staff training and to prepare ahead of the fall recreation season.

The outdoor spray parks will remain open to the public.

The closures will be from Saturday to Sept. 5. All centers are closed on Sundays and will remain non-operational on Monday, Sept. 7, to observe the Labor Day holiday.

City officials advise there are multiple services and facilities that will stay open during this time, including:
