Morning Edition host and multimedia journalistMikhaela Singleton is Morning Edition host and a multimedia journalist for WXXI News. She has spent more than a decade in media, previously working in television as the morning show host at WROC and reporting for multiple communities around the nation.
In 2019, Mikhaela earned the Georgia Association of Broadcasters Best News Story merit award, and in 2018, she was honored by the Georgia Commission on Family Violence with its Responsible Coverage award.
Mikhaela identifies herself as a “foodie” — constantly cooking new things and tasting Rochester’s amazing food culture. She loves reading, crafting, animals, and enjoying these hobbies outside the sunshine (when we have some)!
