Rochester man charged with killing wife & daughter

A Rochester man has been charged with the murder of his estranged wife and their daughter. It happened on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

37 year old Patrick Brooks has been indicted on second degree murder charges in the stabbing deaths of 35 year old Christie Brooks and 18 year old Victoria Brooks. They were found in a home on Wellington Avenue last November 25th.

District Attorney Sandra Doorley says that Brooks was picked up on a parole violation after a prior robbery conviction.

“Since November 25th the members of the Rochester Police Department, and specifically members of our crime lab have been working tirelessly in order to secure the sufficient evidence that enabled us to go before a grand jury and secure these indictments.”

Brooks is being held without bail pending another court appearance this month.
