Authorities say a female pedestrian died after being struck by a City of Rochester garbage truck Tuesday morning.
It happened at about 6:30. A city hall spokeswoman says that the truck was headed east on Lexington Avenue. The driver turned north onto Lark Street and struck a pedestrian who later died.
The victim's name and other details were not released yet. Rochester Police will investigate and city hall officials will also review what happened.
