Cuomo To Make Stop In Rochester To Celebrate Revitalization Aid

Governor Andrew Cuomo makes a stop in Rochester on Monday, to talk about the $500 million the Finger Lakes region learned last week it would be awarded as part of the Upstate Revitalization Initiative.

The money will be granted over a five-year period, and Cuomo is scheduled to be at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center Monday afternoon, to, as Assembly Majority Leader Joe Morelle puts it, “celebrate this momentous day.”

The Finger Lakes region was one of three regions to win the top award in state aid under this program. Central New York and the Finger Lakes were the other two.

A similar celebration event hosted by Cuomo was held in Syracuse Sunday afternoon.
