Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks is finishing up 12 years in office. She sat down with WXXI's Randy Gorbman to talk about a number of issues and legislation she pushed for during her tenure, including:
· bills affecting the environment
· the county tax rate, and whether the county is “fiscally stressed” as the NYS Comptroller has said
· What she thinks her biggest accomplishments were; also, any regrets?
· The controversy over Local Development Corporations..(and Brooks takes issue with the constant use of the word “scandal”
