Ann Coulter Visits Rochester

Carlet Cleare

Some local Republicans had a chance to listen to national political contributor Ann Coulter here in Rochester Wednesday.

The New York Times best-selling author Ann Coulter spoke at the Monroe County GOP fundraiser at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center yesterday. Coulter criticized the Democratic Party's position on a number of issues. One of the main topics she commented on is the president's healthcare plan.

"So now our entire healthcare system will be run by the people who run the department of motor vehicles,"  you know those incredibly long lines at the DMV. now imagine you're standing in one of those lines and you're wearing a cloth robe that open in the back. That's Obamacare."

Coulter also spoke about foreign policy. Over 100 people attended the luncheon.
