Rochester’s Cool Sweep Program doesn't kick in for another week, but with unseasonably hot weather this week, Mayor Tom Richards is opening several city facilities to help people cool off.
The Genesee Valley Park Pool will be open from 3 to 8pm through Friday, and the City's Spray parks will also be open daily from 10am to 8pm at a variety of locations.
Air-conditioned city Library branches will be available during regular business hours.
City Recreation and Community Centers are closed this week for staff training and preparation for the summer.
