Governor Andrew Cuomo visited the Rochester area Friday to promote the priorities in his recent state budget proposal.
The governor spoke at Rochester Institute of Technology, one of several recent stops around the state designed to gather support for his budget and his administration's future plans.
Part of the spending plan includes funding for the first phase of the Interstate 390 project, including new ramps on Kendrick Road and East River Road near the University of Rochester.
The governor has included $26 million in his budget for the first phase of the project.
