Sandy Frankel says she has no regrets for giving up her Brighton Town Supervisor post to run a campaign against re-elected Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks. And she says she's comfortable with moving forward. That's because the 20-year Brighton Supervisor says she's completed nearly all the goals she set out to do.
Frankel says she plans to take this time to consider some other options, such as working in the private sector.
But since there's no crystal ball to look into her future, the one thing Frankel says she's certain of is that her passion for politics won't change ...
"I'm not ready to retire," Frankel says. " I still want to contribute. So, I'll look at the possibilities and decide what might be a good next step."
But for now, Frankel says she'll continue volunteering in the community..
Democrat William Moehle is replacing Frankel as Brighton Town Supervisor beginning January 1st.
