The Mott's plant will be expanding its plant in Williamson, Wayne County and in the process adding 20 jobs.
Governor Cuomo says that the project includes the addition of new manufacturing lines and other renovations at the plant where Mott's juice, applesauce and other items are produced.
The Mott's plant employs more than 300 workers in Wayne County, which is one of the biggest apple producing counties in the state.
The Williamson facility is one of 18 production plants operated by the parent company, Dr Pepper Snapple Group around the U.S. Officials say the new expansion will allow the local facility to to produce its fast-growing Mott's Snack & Go pouches.
New York State is providing up to $300,000 in tax credits in return for the company's investment and job commitments.
