COMIDA, the County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency,  has approved incentives for several projects including the $101 million CityGate project in Rochester.  The COMIDA board approved nearly 19 million dollars in tax incentives for that project which will include a mix of retail, commercial and residential uses.

That project also includes a new Costco store, and it's anticipated the CityGate project will create 255 jobs over the next three years. Most of the project is located at the former Iola campus, near Westfall and East Henrietta Roads.  19 acres are located across the city line in Brighton.

COMIDA also approved incentives for some other projects, including a $15 million renovation project at apartments at 111 East Avenue.
