Two area companies are adding jobs in the Rochester area. One of them is a maker of high-end archery equipment, called The Outdoor Group, which will move part of its operation in Kentucky to its current facilities in Henrietta.
That firm already has 44 jobs at the local facility and will add 35 more. The Outdoor Group will get $900,000 in tax credits from the state for its five million dollar expansion. Governor Cuomo's office says that the company had also looked at the possibility of closing the Rochester plant and relocating operations to Kentucky.
The other company that is adding jobs is called Brand Networks, a social marketing and software development firm. They plan to add 75 workers to their new location in High Falls over the next three years.
