First hour: Women and guns

Second hour: The Simon Games

The New York Times reports that more women are buying guns than ever -- for a wide range of reasons. Women's participation in target shooting is up more than 50% in a decade. In hunting, it's up more than 40%. Advertisers are focusing on women, with an angle on self-protection. We'll explore why more women are buying guns, and what it means.

In our second hour, you might've seen the billboard: the Simon Games are coming. So what are the Simon Games? They were designed by the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester to get real ideas moving forward in the business world. Participants are, essentially, playing the role of CEO for their own firm, in charge of marketing, business decisions, and more. So in 2016, which business concepts are successful? We'll find out.
