Conduent To Trade On The NYSE After Separation From Xerox

Xerox has announced that when it splits into two companies, the new business services company, called Conduent Incorporated, will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CNDT.

Xerox, the brand name that will continue on, but focusing on document technology, will continue to trade on the NYSE as XRX.

The recently appointed CEO of Conduent, Ashok Vemuri, says the NYSE is the best exchange for each of the companies to build their long-term shareholder base.

It's expected the separation into two companies will be completed by the end of the year. Xerox shareholders will own stock in both companies.

The trading on the stock exchange as two companies will begin in 2017 after January 1st.
