The newsstand price of the Democrat & Chronicle is rising. As of Monday of this week, the single copy rate from Monday through Saturday went up from $1.00 to $1.50.
A notice inside the paper did not mention a specific reason for the increase, but the notice did say the price change does not affect the price of home delivery subscriptions.
The Sunday D & C newsstand price remains at $3.00.
