www.news.fiu.edu

Two world-renowned flautists are scheduled to be in Rochester next year.

Sir James Galway and Lady Jeanne Galway will be performing on NPR's  From the Top, which will be recorded live at Kodak Hall at the Eastman Theater on March 19.

Sir James Galway is regarded as the supreme interpreter of the classical flute repertoire.  His wife, Lady Jeanne, is one of the leading female flute soloists of the decade.

They will be performing with an ensemble of wind performers.

Exceptional Classical instrumentalists, vocalists and composers between the ages of  8 and 18 are encouraged to apply to perform on the program.  There's more information at http://interactive.wxxi.org/fromthetop
