February 15th marks the end of the second open enrollment period for the New York State of Health Marketplace.

Marketplace officials expect high traffic on the state exchange website as the deadline draws near.

Coordinated Care Services—a lead navigator agency in Western New York—will hold two open houses to answer last minute questions.

Kim Wynn is the manager for the navigator program at CCCSI. Wynn says her agency has not seen a steady stream of people with questions this year.

"This second open enrollment period we are still busy. We're receiving quite a few calls from individuals who need to meet with an in-person assistor for application assistance through the New York State of Health Marketplace."

Wynn expects all sorts of people are likely to come in for help during their February 6th and 13th open houses.

"They're usually people may not have had an opportunity to call and make an appointment. Or individuals who may have had changes that have occurred in regards to employment or even household composition. So, It varies.”

Both open house events are on a drop in basis from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on 1099 Jay Street. Attendees should bring identifying documents.
