Cuomo Campaign Raises $19 Million
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Gov. Andrew Cuomo's campaign reports raising $4 million over the past six months, having amassed $19 million toward a re-election effort that's still two years away.
The Cuomo 2018 campaign said Friday it had $16 million at the start of the six-month reporting period, collected $4 million in receipts and spent almost $1 million during the period.
The campaign's detailed filing at the Board of Elections shows several individual donations ranging from $45,000 to $60,000 from commercial interests, including New York City real estate developers, mixed martial arts promoters and construction trade unionists.
The Democrat says he wants to serve as the state's governor "as long as the people will have me."
In 2018 Cuomo would be seeking a third term.
