Adam Bello is the new supervisor for the Town of Irondequoit. He defeated Republican incumbent Mary Joyce D'Aurizio on election night. Two other Democrats were elected to the Town Board, giving the town an all-Democratic leadership.
Bello says he's incredibly grateful and humbled by the support that voters placed in him on election day. He says his top priority is Medley Centre, the stalled development project. Bello says it's time the developer was held accountable. Other priorities moving forward are a new library and I-Square.
Bello says he has a good team in place in Irondequoit and they'll work very together as a team. He says they're all working toward the same goal and that's the future of Irondequoit. This is Bello's first time running for political office.
