The Monroe County Legislature has unanimously approved 28-million dollars in bonds for possible acquisition and renovation of a site for the new Monroe Community College downtown campus. College President Anne Kress says the new campus will be a true 21st century learning facility with high tech learning and a small business incubator to help students compete in today's job market. She says planning will begin in earnest in the new year, when students, faculty and staff will develop ideas for the new campus and finalize the location.
