NoJay Wins Primary in 133rd

Bill Nojay will run on the Republican line for the 133rd state Assembly district in November. The former RGRTA chairman took on former Avon mayor Richard Burke for the GOP nomination in the district that includes southern Monroe, Livingston and part of Steuben County. Nojay won with about 58 percent of the vote...and he says he'll go into the general election campaign with the same message he used in the primary, and that's to be a voice for upstate New York.
Burke quickly endorsed Nojay for the general election...
Nojay will face Steuben County Democratic legislator Randy Weaver in November...as they compete for the seat vacated by Sean Hanna, who's running for state Senate.
