There are reports that some Time Warner Road Runner e-mail customers have had issues this week sending or receiving email through their Time Warner accounts.
A company spokesman issued this statement: "Some of our Internet customers who use Road Runner email were affected by an intermittent issue. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible and we are sorry for any inconvenience. "
The spokesman says the issue affected multiple markets, but he says the vast majority of Internet customers were not affected at all.
Time Warner calls this an intermittent issue that affected less than 10 percent of email users. They say Business Class Internet customers' emails were not affected; this is strictly residential.
