The former CEO of Bausch + Lomb has a new job. A New York City based pharmaceutical company called Forest Laboratories has hired Brent Saunders to be its new president and CEO.
Saunders was CEO of B+L from 2010 to this past August until a Canadian company, Valeant Pharmaceuticals, completed its purchase of B+L.
Saunders has been on the board of directors of Forest Laboratories for the last couple of years. At Forest Laboratories, he will succeed Howard Solomon who is retiring.
