Right before Christmas, Mayor Lovely Warren tried to remove "Sanctuary Village" a series of tents that housed some of Rochester's homeless. The city reversed their decision and offered residents of the village housing, but this olive branch was met with anger. Now, the House of Mercy is trying to build a shelter for the homeless residents of Sanctuary Village, and representatives from the House of Mercy came on the program to discuss this plan. We invited representatives from the Warren administration to come on the show, but they declined.
