Macy's has set a closing date for its store at Marketplace Mall in Henrietta.
Last week, the company announced that about 65 stores would be closing this year as the company as part of a restructuring needed to come up with new strategies to gain market share and deal with declining traffic in its stores.
The retailer, like many other brick-and-mortar stores are facing increased online competition.
A notice that Macy's filed with the NY State Labor Department says the Marketplace store will close on April 18th, and that 101 workers will be affected.
The Macy's at Greece Ridge and Eastview Mall will remain open.
