The Drum Corps Associates are bringing their World Championship to Rochester for the 15th year.
The championship takes place today, Saturday and Sunday at Sahlens Stadium.
It's expected around 10-thousand people will visit Rochester for the event.
Visit Rochester President and CEO Don Jeffries says the Drum Corps Associates World Championships is important for Rochester because of the economic impact it has.
And they've signed on for two more years.
Jeffries says this promises to liven up the Labor Day weekend in Rochester.
"Where other cities really are not active, kind of like ghost towns over Labor Day because people travel and they complete their summer vacation, Rochester's just rocking all weekend long with this group."
Tonight there's a marching competition down Main Street, which is closed until 11 tonight.
