There is one week left to help two parks in New York win "best in the nation" recognition, in a USA Today vote involving both Watkins Glen and Letchworth State Parks.
There is plenty of online support for the two nearby state parks. Sunday, Letchworth topped the list of 20 of the best in the country, and Watkins Glen was third.
Letchworth, in Wyoming and Livingston Counties is known as the Grand Canyon of the East.
The state says Watkins Glen is the most visited state park in the Finger Lakes.
The State Parks Office points out that only New York, California and Florida have two entries and encourages you to vote.
This is the final week of the USA TODAY Readers' Choice Award for Best State Park. Voting closes March 30 at 11:59 am.
