Bills Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kyle Williams will not return this season. He tried to rehab his injured knee, but it did not respond to treatment. According to coach Rex Ryan, Williams will have knee surgery to repair a meniscus, and is likely to be placed on the injured reserve list, ending his season.
Williams was injured during the Bengals game in week 6 when a teammate rolled up on his leg.
He vows to stay with the team, attend meetings and help the defense get ready for games.
So I'm going to give you what I've got until I can't and we'll figure that out together. Bills DT Kyle Williams
“Up until this point I felt really good this year. It’s just something that is the price of doing business sometimes. It’s the nature of this league where you’ve got some guys who can come back and play and that’s what my plan is.”
