Water for South Sudan

http://youtu.be/ymH1nkQCfkE

On this segment of Need to Know we look into the work of Rochester-based Water for South Sudan. The non-profit, founded by former "Lost Boy of Sudan," Salva Dut, has drilled, to date, more than 250 water wells throughout the country. According to UNICEF, 32% of the population in South Sudan doesn’t have access to clean water. Need to Know’s Hélène Biandudi Hofer recently sat down with Salva Dut and Angelique Stevens of Water for South Sudan. They discussed their recent work and explained how digging wells in the middle of an ongoing war in the country has a significant meaning.
