Monroe County now has the ability to allow the electronic filing of most civil court documents.
County Clerk Adam Bello, along with State Supreme Court Justices Craig Doran and Matthew Rosenbaum announced a partnership involving the 7th Judicial District.
Bello says the e-filing will decrease customer wait times in the clerk’s office, enhance accessibility for filing court documents and improve public access to information.
Most civil filings will be accepted electronically, with the exception of some proceedings such as election law, matrimonial matters and residential foreclosure actions.
