One of Rochester's better known downtown buildings is for sale. The Alliance building has been listed by the real estate firm CB Richard Ellis.
The 87 year old building, which includes retail and office space, is being listed at $1.3 million.
The building is currently owned by Conifer Realty. CB Richard Ellis notes that the 15 story building is a fixture in the downtown skyline and they say it is in the middle of multiple redevelopment projects including The Grove at Midtown, Midtown Tower, Windstream and the Hilton Garden Inn.
The listing says that opens up the Alliance building to the possibility of being among the growing list of development projects in the center city.
The Alliance Building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
