Kodak Names President Of Motion Picture & Entertainment

Kodak has filled its newly-created position of president of motion picture and entertainment. The company recently announced that it has hired Steve Bellamy to fill that role. Bellamy will be based in Los Angeles, and will be responsible for growing Kodak's relationships with creative and business leaders in the entertainment industry.

Bellamy's background includes having founded The Tennis Channel, The Ski Channel, The Surf Channel and The Skate Channel television networks. He also is a writer and director, and is a songwriter and recording artist.

A statement released by Kodak quotes filmmaker JJ Abrams as saying that he is "thrilled and relieved that Kodak remains committed to keeping film alive and well."

Bellamy will work with Kodak's president and general manager for entertainment and commercial film, Andrew Evenski. Both will report to Steven Overman, who is president for the company's consumer and film division.

Before retiring in March 2025, Randy Gorbman was WXXI's director of news and public affairs and managed the day-to-day operations of WXXI News on radio, television, and online.
