First hour: Art in the Finger Lakes
Second hour: Smith Opera House; Perry Chalk Art Festival
In our first hour, if you've ever wondered about your artistic talent, this hour is for you. We meet people who spent years wishing they could spend more time painting, only to doubt their ability. But today, they're turning ideas into finished paintings, and they're making money doing it. On top of that, they've found a welcoming showcase in the form of Finger Lakes wineries.
In our second hour, we take two road trips. The first is to Geneva, where the Smith Opera House finally has air conditioning! That means a full summer event series, and we'll preview it, along with a trip through Smith history (including the story of Bruce Springsteen's appearance). Then we'll go to Perry, where they're getting ready for the Chalk Art Festival.
