Downtown street and sidewalk closures and restrictions for Monday May 6 during filming of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will begin between 5 and 5:30 a.m. and will be lifted around 9 p.m. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to allow 15 to 20 extra minutes to enter and exit Downtown during that time.
Monday, May 6 PRIMARY street closure:
* Main Street from Plymouth Ave. to South Ave.
* Vehicles will not be permitted.
* Pedestrians requiring access to buildings along this section of Main St. will be directed by Rochester police officers and/or film production company staff (who will wear identifiable credentials and be posted at intersections).
Monday, May 6 LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY access:
* Montgomery Alley from Church St. to Main St.
* School Alley from Main St. to Broad St.
* North Fitzhugh St. from Church St. to Main St.
* South Fitzhugh from Main St. to Broad St.
* Pindle Alley from Church St. to Main St.
* Irving Place from Main St. to Broad St.
* State St. from Church St. to Main St.
* Exchange Blvd. from Main St to Broad St.
* Aqueduct Street from Broad St. to Main St.
* Corinthian St.
* Basin St.
* Race St.
* Graves St.
* Vehicle and pedestrian access to buildings, parking lots and garages on these streets will be permitted.
