A one-day exercise involving an international law enforcement team took part in a maritime drill around the Port of Rochester and Lake Ontario.
Canadian Mounted Police joined United States, New York State and local law enforcement partners for the exercise.
Greece Police Chief Todd Baxter served as Incident Commander for the drill.
He says the scenario involved potential radiological devices stolen from Canada, and intelligence led law enforcement to believe they were headed here.
Baxter emphasized there's no intelligence indicating those devices are here.
But he called it a very plausible scenario.
County Executive Maggie Brooks said the exercise was designed to prepare for and preven cross-border terrorist and criminal activities.
Here's raw video of one of the Monroe County Sheriff's Department boats used in the drill.
