Locally-based Paychex says it has acquired an Ohio company that specializes in offering customized products to the temporary staffing industry, including payroll, tax preparation and other services.
Paychex is buying Advanced Partners, which has around 130 employees. They will all be offered the opportunity to become Paychex employees.
Paychex CEO Martin Mucci says that the staffing outsourcing business is a growing industry that serves many small and mid-sized businesses and he says that makes Advanced a perfect fit for Paychex.
He notes that Paychex already provides payroll and HR services to a number of staffing companies and this acquisition will allow Paychex to offer them more services and support.
The purchase price for the acquisition was not disclosed.
