Tops supermarkets lost more than 15-and-a-half million dollars in 2014.

The Williamsville based company reported its earnings Friday.

It says sales were up slightly with the help of three new and six purchased stores. Losses for the year improved from 28-million in 2013.

Tops operates 158 stores and five franchised stores in New York, Vermont and Pennsylvania.
