WATCH: ROC Youth Take On Systemic Racism

Point Made Films" target="_blank">

From racial protests on college campuses nationwide to incidents closer to home - like the slurs shouted at School 58 soccer players from the Rochester City School District after a major game win in Wayne County this fall - issues of race and racism continue to permeate our culture. Facing Race, Embracing Equity, a local initiative focused on that effort is now implementing a new project geared towards teens and college students. On this edition of Need to Know with Hélène Biandudi Hofer, we learn about a documentary film the group is using called I’m not I? to mobilize the next generation to confront racism head-on.
