An 18-year old from Penfield is accused of driving while high on drugs following a crash that seriously injured a teenaged friend.
Webster Police say Vincent Scaccia was northbound on Holt Road at about 9:23 last night. His SUV went off the road and the passenger side of the vehicle hit a dumpster.
Lt. Joseph Rieger tells WXXI that Scaccia’s passenger, 17 year old Solomiya Blekot, was seriously injured. She is being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Police charged Scaccia with vehicular assault and driving while his ability was Impaired by drugs.
He is due back in Webster Town Court on Friday, May 2 at 3 pm.
