Police in Ontario County are looking for a man they identify as Michael Anderson, after a sheriff's deputy saw him crash his vehicle on Griffith Road in Phelps, last night about 7.

The deputy says Anderson ran away from the incident at Griffith Road and Toll Road carrying a long gun.

Anderson was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt with the words "Fat Boys" on the front and a telephone number on the back, according to a statement from the sheriffs office.

He's considered armed and dangerous, and is wanted for questioning.

The public is asked not to approach but rather to call the Ontario County Sheriff's Office @ 911 or 585-394-4560 if they see the subject or have information about his whereabouts.
