Public media stations across New York state are collaborating to create a teacher professional development toolkit to improve student mental health. Using PBS Learning Media, teachers will better understand and address self-harm among students. To further raise awareness, public media journalists are focusing coverage on the topic as well. Funding for this program is provided in part by the New York State Education Department.
