Xerox has named two new members to its board of directors.
One of them is Jeff Jacobson, who is now the company’s CEO. He was named to that job as Xerox split into two businesses, one that retains the name Xerox, and which focuses on document technology. The other is named Conduent. It concentrates on business services.
The other new Xerox board member is Greg Brown, the chairman and CEO of Motorola Solutions.
The two vacancies on the board were created because Ursula Burns will retire as chairman of the board at the annual shareholders meeting in May, as previously announced.
And another board member, Richard Harrington, who has served on the board since 2004, will also retire and not stand for re-election in May.
