WXXI Wins 8 Associated Press Awards

WXXI Radio & TV won a total of 8 awards at Saturday night’s meeting of the New York State Associated Press Association.

A 1st place award for  Best News Series for: “Schools for South Sudan, “ a WXXI TV series reported by Helene Biandudi Hofer.

And WXXI received 7 ‘Special Mention Awards’ for these entries:

WXXI-TV-Best News Special/Documentary -  ``Human Trafficking In Monroe County”

WXXI-Radio – Best News Series- “Lessons from July 64”
