There's not enough cold air in the forecast to cause any substantial accumulation in most places in and around Rochester, but it was a rude awakening early today for many who had to find the snow brushes if they were making an early start.
The National Weather Service issued a 'special weather statement'just to advise drivers starting out on their commute they might face some slick road conditions due to wet snow, which will change to all rain later in the morning.
The forecast does call for a high of 45 on Thursday with windy conditions. Friday will also see a high in the 40s but it's expected to get milder on Saturday with a high in the 60s.
