Officials at St. John Fisher College on Tuesday celebrated the opening of the new Integrated Science and Health Sciences building.
The $14 million project also included a renovation of the existing Skalny Science Center. The college says the expansion reflects enrollment growth in the natural sciences and also provides greater opportunities for cross-disciplinary learning and research initiatives.
Officials note that Fisher has also seen heightened interest in the health sciences and they say the new building will also help faculty and students from the Wegman School of Pharmacy and the Wegmans School of Nursing.
