Snowy, slippery conditions on Wednesday

Wintry weather is hanging on the the Rochester area and much of Upstate NY with more snow.

A few inches fell overnight in many spots, and Meteorologist Josh Nichols says another 2 to 4 inches of snow is likely today with 6 inches or so possible in the Bristol Hills, Wayne and Wyoming counties.

It will remain cold and turning windy near the Lake Ontario shoreline later on Wednesday afternoon, with a high of 32.

There is a Winter Weather Advisory for counties including  Wayne, Livingston and Ontario until early Thursday morning. The advisory for Monroe County has been canceled.

There is a Winter Storm Warningfor Wyoming County until early Thursday.

Roads are slippery and numerous accidents were reported on Wednesday morning.

The forecast calls for some snow squalls Wednesday evening, and some sun on Thursday with a high of 37
